I’m a Japanese-English writer from London-Tokyo with 10+ years of writing experience. Making me old enough to know what makes good work, but still young enough to make a fool of myself.
From magazine journalism and crafting branded content stories at VICE's Virtue back in the day to bouncing around world-class agencies (W+K, 72 and Sunny, Uncommon) and big brands (LEGO, adidas, Nike, Polaroid, Wish) to almost finishing my Japanese horror screenplay… Basically, I’m obsessed with stories and always have been.
I'm just as happy leading 360° brand campaigns, as I am coming up with a branded entertainment TikTok series or out-of-the box activations across social and IRL. A lacklustre script that needs a comedic edge? No problem. Quippy OOH lines that stop traffic? Of course. Need a human meme generator? That’s me.
